The Future of the Internet According to Kids

SpectraCom, along with our partners at Circle 1 Network began tracking children's perceptions about the Future of the Internet with an annual study in 1996. The 2004 study is the nineth in the series. The objective of the study was to identify trends in:

  • The amount of time spent online by children
  • The amount of time children expect to spend online in the next five years
  • Children's opinions about the future role of the Internet in society
  • Parents' role in children's online activities Children's attitudes toward the future of e-commerce
