Burst Media reports that 37% of teens are spending at least three hours online each day outside of school. 40% of these teens say that while online they are also text messaging or talking with friends on their mobile phone, and 34% say a TV or movie usually is playing while they are online. As this tendency increases, marketers will need to design integrated campaigns with advertising and programs that work in tandem if they hope to attract teens’ attention.
