Notable Differences Between Boys and Girls

03.28.2006

Mediamark recently surveyed children between the ages of 6-11 years and found:
- Boys more often have a TV (59%) or game system (47%) in their rooms and have played video, Internet or computer games in the past 30 days (89%).
- Girls spend more time listening to music on their CD players (70%) and have more often gone online in the past 30 days than have boys (62%).
Understanding the similarities and differences in the behavior of young children is important when trying to market to this specialized audience. To learn more, contact us.
