Next round of browser battle?
02.21.2005
Microsoft is planning to start testing their next browser upgrade, IE 7.0, this summer. The new browser will reportedly fix some security flaws in the current 6.0 version. Over the past year, Firefox, an open-source browser, has started to erode IE's market share, grabbing almost 5% according to JupiterResearch. Rumors are also spreading that Google and Yahoo! will launch their own browsers. Each browser displays Web sites differently so making sure your site is programmed to display and work in new browsers is important. Once a browser is used by 5%-15% of your audience, we recommend you begin checking your site in the browser and making any necessary adjustments. For more information, please contact us.
