So How Are You Using The Internet?

05.08.2006

According to the Pew Internet and American Life Project, 45% (60 million Americans) said the Internet helped them make big decisions or face a major moment in their life during the previous two years. 21 million turned to it to seek more training for a career, 17 million used it to choose a school or help another person with a major illness, and 16 million used the Internet when buying a car or making a major investment/financial decision. These findings provide continued support of how the Internet is becoming increasingly important part of people’s everyday lives.
